One timing note: Spain switches from daylight saving time to standard time on Sunday, October 25. Kickoffs on Friday and Saturday are in CEST; Sunday's and Monday's kickoffs are in CET. I've retained the official local Spanish kickoff times.
These are my own predicted scores, not guaranteed outcomes. I weigh home advantage, the available recent results, reported league-position and form snapshots, and matchup characteristics. Exact-score predictions are inherently uncertain, and I can't verify late injury news or confirmed starting lineups for every team.

## Comprehensive game-by-game analysis

Home win
Why I favor Alavés
- Home advantage: Alavés should be able to apply pressure early, particularly if they can win second balls and push Málaga toward their own penalty area.
- Recent form: The available Matchday 9 snapshot shows Alavés losing 1–2 away to Celta Vigo, while Málaga suffered a 2–5 defeat against Real Sociedad. Málaga's defensive performance in that game is a concern, although one high-scoring loss alone doesn't establish a lasting trend.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
+1
- Tactical matchup: Alavés can look for crosses, set pieces and second-phase chances rather than trying to force elaborate passing combinations. Málaga's best route is to remain compact and attack the spaces behind the home defense.
- Scoring outlook: The published statistical forecast also favors Alavés, with an expected-goals estimate of approximately 1.75–0.82.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
My score reasoning: Alavés have a reasonable path to one goal in each half. I expect Málaga to create some opportunities, but I don't see enough evidence to make an away goal my primary prediction.
Most plausible alternative: Alavés 1–0 Málaga.
### 2. Rayo Vallecano vs. Elche
Saturday, October 24 · 14:00 CEST
## Prediction: Rayo Vallecano 2–1 Elche
Moderate confidence
Why I favor Rayo
- Home pressure: Rayo tend to benefit from an energetic, direct approach at Vallecas. A fast start and sustained pressure could force Elche into defensive errors.
- Recent results: Rayo drew 1–1 with Getafe in the preceding round. Elche drew 0–0 with Villarreal, a result that suggests they can stay organized defensively, even against stronger opposition.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Key tactical question: Elche will likely prefer to limit space between their midfield and defense. Rayo need to move the ball quickly from wide areas and avoid becoming predictable.
- Counterattacking danger: Elche's clearest opportunity may come when Rayo commit players forward and leave space behind their fullbacks.
My score reasoning: Rayo's home advantage tips the balance, but Elche's ability to keep games tight makes a clean sheet less certain. I expect the visitors to score once, with Rayo creating the greater volume of chances.
Most plausible alternative: 1–1.
### 3. Racing Santander vs. Espanyol

## Prediction: Racing Santander 1–1 Espanyol
Draw lean
Why this looks close
- Balanced matchup: The available forecasts give this fixture one of the most even home-versus-away profiles of the round. One model estimates expected goals at roughly 1.50 for each side.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://load90.com\&sz=32)
load90.com
- Racing's challenge: They need to turn home energy into clear chances rather than relying on crosses and speculative efforts. Maintaining defensive discipline will be equally important.
- Espanyol's opportunity: Espanyol lost 0–1 to Atlético Madrid in the previous round. That narrow defeat suggests they were at least able to keep the game competitive, though it doesn't guarantee the same defensive performance here.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Likely game pattern: Neither team has an overwhelming statistical advantage in the information available. If the opening goal arrives early, the match could become more open; otherwise, it may remain a tight contest.
My score reasoning: I expect both teams to have spells of pressure but neither to dominate for long enough to secure a comfortable victory.
Most plausible alternatives: Racing Santander 1–0 Espanyol or Racing Santander 1–2 Espanyol.
### 4. Valencia vs. Villarreal
[The strength of Mestalla: 898,367 Valencianistas attended the Mestalla during the 2025–26 season - Valencia CF](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/_usZwk-dosWUJjrllVFMatCVniPRa8SZAewnL8n5JYhmYX5Kbcq9rtWYo1Un2nbV7X2k9LgeKfcR48xF3ztWnFDn7jjdaSQ1PrRCXA-7b6EyL7rLUK9__BU0OdAymKvdudvjKtwdV5L6AW8FIpNrSczr-lEN7ti6QKhyav3EF3w?purpose=inline)
Saturday, October 24 · 18:30 CEST
## Prediction: Valencia 1–2 Villarreal
Competitive away win
Why I lean toward Villarreal
- Attacking potential: The available forecast favors Villarreal, estimating approximately 1.63 expected goals for the visitors against 1.29 for Valencia.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://load90.com\&sz=32)
load90.com
- Valencia's home advantage: Mestalla can make this a difficult match for any visitor. Valencia should have opportunities, especially if they win possession in midfield and attack quickly.
- Recent evidence: Valencia drew 0–0 with Athletic Club in the previous round. Villarreal also drew 0–0, against Elche. Neither team scored in that round, so a substantial improvement in finishing could decide this fixture.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Tactical matchup: Villarreal may have an edge if they can progress the ball through midfield and exploit gaps when Valencia press. Valencia need to avoid turnovers in dangerous central areas.
My score reasoning: Villarreal have a slight edge in the attacking projection, but Valencia's home advantage should keep them involved. I predict one goal for the hosts and two for Villarreal.
Most plausible alternative: 1–1.
Saturday, October 24 · 21:00 CEST
## Prediction: Atlético Madrid 2–0 Deportivo
Strong home lean
Why Atlético are favored
- Defensive stability: Atlético won 1–0 away to Espanyol in the previous round. That result supports the possibility of another controlled, low-concession performance.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Home advantage and depth: Atlético should have the stronger squad profile and more options for changing the game's tempo if the first goal takes time.
- Deportivo's challenge: The visitors will need to defend compactly, avoid giving away dangerous set pieces and take advantage of any opportunities on the counterattack.
- Statistical support: One published forecast estimates Atlético at around 2.17 expected goals and Deportivo at 0.78, a substantial projected advantage for the home side.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://load90.com\&sz=32)
load90.com
My score reasoning: Atlético should be able to create the better chances and control the central areas. A two-goal win feels more likely than a high-scoring shootout.
Most plausible alternatives: Atlético Madrid 1–0 Deportivo or 3–0.
### 6. Athletic Club vs. Getafe
[Las condiciones del Athletic Club a la Herri Harmaila en San Mamés](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/vEp3iTc-JAnlPfOCqmWY6IvQx8R_Xdt4F20nUYCOo-cxyHX9OjLkPcUznj1Eo8BWUdonUQdzLYlkO40-WMHblsMQ-M0Ba6mt8-08wFwsMJpcNj-XfnoXEGv_clLQCWu52OC5b_SUiCdpB-LHndsTzWwqHdmf1yl0CHM-ZbOJNto?purpose=inline)
Sunday, October 25 · 14:00 CET
## Prediction: Athletic Club 1–0 Getafe
Low-scoring lean
Why I favor Athletic Club
- Home intensity: Athletic can use pressing, physical duels and wide attacking play to force opponents into mistakes at San Mamés.
- Getafe's approach: Getafe are likely to make this uncomfortable by defending in a compact shape, slowing the tempo and looking for set-piece opportunities.
- Recent form: Athletic drew 0–0 with Valencia in the previous round, while Getafe drew 1–1 with Rayo Vallecano. Both results suggest that a tight match is plausible.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Chance quality: The available forecast estimates approximately 1.52 expected goals for Athletic and 0.87 for Getafe, supporting a narrow home victory rather than a large margin.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://load90.com\&sz=32)
load90.com
My score reasoning: Athletic's home advantage is the deciding factor. I expect them to create enough pressure for one goal, while Getafe may struggle to generate a large number of clear chances.
Most plausible alternative: 1–1.
### 7. Celta Vigo vs. Real Betis
[RC Celta de Vigo v Real Betis Balompie - LaLiga EA Sports](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/nqlPScdn5mGs0yMncJcrs_RzPe8ruZ2O5epjZPcqCZ011OgVwnewtBiX7P6IGhDqHa38qEPQA8KVhFZPbsMq5oE_JQTe4PowLSaRM6UrTGWtY9iA6TsQtb1lqjHMhhQmC5Aqw4-wx2rA1N-HVU0vkvXHcZwInBngJHrok19PN13t2h3sNMyuJw9HgYm0QA_I?purpose=inline)
Sunday, October 25 · 16:15 CET
## Prediction: Celta Vigo 1–2 Real Betis
Close contest
Why I slightly favor Betis
- Recent form: Celta beat Alavés 2–1 in the previous round, while Betis lost 2–5 to Barcelona. Celta enter this match off a win, but Betis's heavy defeat should not automatically be treated as evidence of a prolonged decline.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Attacking matchup: Both sides have routes to goal. Celta can use home possession and quick combinations; Betis may be dangerous when they can progress through midfield and exploit spaces between the lines.
- Defensive concern: The 2–5 result against Barcelona highlights how vulnerable Betis can look when forced to defend repeated attacks, although Barcelona's quality was an important factor.
- Statistical outlook: A published forecast puts Celta at roughly 1.39 expected goals and Betis at 1.52, giving the visitors a narrow projected edge.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://load90.com\&sz=32)
load90.com
My score reasoning: This is one of the more difficult games to call. Celta's home advantage balances Betis's slight attacking edge, but I narrowly prefer the visitors to score twice.
Most plausible alternative: 1–1.
### 8. Real Sociedad vs. Levante
[Reale Arena Anoeta Stadium (2026) – Best of TikTok, Instagram & Reddit Travel Guide](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/RC6hJmJEy24PH-57IZFtYrr-j07e48cihf74vN1mY640KxbZo5yv769LLdcWrm0cJ4ZcZNU-yQ6m_v-RhqLVs5PdpTbn9Rlb_IM0C0fdKJP0XLjY6Ylr75ye795_ANsEv4I3CqEtdir9cF8SSmmlzNKej0tMBStGqhyIQnKeKzI?purpose=inline)
Sunday, October 25 · 18:30 CET
## Prediction: Real Sociedad 2–1 Levante
Home win
Why I favor Real Sociedad
- Recent attacking form: Real Sociedad beat Málaga 5–2 in the previous round. That is a strong attacking result, though repeating a five-goal performance should not be assumed.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Home advantage: Sociedad should be able to dictate more of the possession and create opportunities through passing combinations around the penalty area.
- Levante's threat: Levante beat Athletic Club 3–1 on October 21, according to the available fixture context. That recent result warns against underestimating their attacking potential.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://champsheep.com\&sz=32)
ChampSheep
- Tactical factor: If Sociedad push their fullbacks high, Levante may find space for counters. Sociedad's ability to prevent transitions could determine whether they win comfortably or concede.
My score reasoning: Sociedad have the stronger home case, but Levante's recent scoring performance makes a clean sheet less attractive. I predict a home win with both teams scoring.
Most plausible alternative: 1–1.
### 9. Barcelona vs. Real Madrid — El Clásico
[First Clásico of 2018/19: Sunday 28 October at 4.15pm CET](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/fAUX55ajvCYFDhw7RtxArGghPsE4GTseiG6MfY7OOlOAuocDgiLKaq2yfu_QlJcogkau_ehBPQxBrhIftehuyeM-oMFk5yOPPrOjebGdUBcSG_5glr0hPhvG0PyC-2vP5QqGE6x-WWAbPrg0quzEHzQXb9RF8GizegtxRSNdg84?purpose=inline)
Sunday, October 25 · 21:00 CET
## Prediction: Barcelona 2–1 Real Madrid
Narrow home lean
Why I narrowly favor Barcelona
- Current-season snapshot: One available statistical source lists Barcelona first and Real Madrid third after nine matches, with Barcelona on 27 points. This is a snapshot rather than a guarantee of their form on match day.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://load90.com\&sz=32)
load90.com
+1
- Barcelona's attacking threat: Barcelona scored five goals in a 5–2 win over Betis in the previous round. Their capacity to create several high-quality chances makes them dangerous, particularly if they can stretch Madrid's defensive shape.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Real Madrid's counterattack: Madrid's strongest route may be to exploit space behind Barcelona's defensive line, particularly after turnovers. Barcelona cannot press recklessly without risking dangerous transitions.
- The midfield battle: Control of second balls, pressing resistance and the ability to play forward under pressure could matter more than overall possession. If Madrid bypass Barcelona's first press, the match may become much more even.
- Why the home edge matters: The available model forecasts favor Barcelona, with one estimate around 2.61 expected goals for Barcelona and 1.44 for Madrid. That supports a Barcelona win, but expected goals are estimates, not actual chances already created.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://load90.com\&sz=32)
load90.com
My score reasoning: I expect both teams to score. Barcelona's home advantage and recent attacking output tip the prediction toward a narrow victory, but El Clásico is particularly sensitive to lineup choices, individual errors and finishing.
Most plausible alternatives: 2–2 or Real Madrid 2–1 Barcelona.
Confidence: Medium-low. This is the marquee fixture, but it is not necessarily the easiest match to predict.
### 10. Sevilla vs. Osasuna
[File:2022-10-25 2 Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán (Sevilla FC).jpg - Wikimedia Commons](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/bjZgQhElbxtR4HVhBVvL2mtu5vsva7djDO6Bls0TRYc8HVk1-93cHgQpWuO7E_mUlVTm7LceSftLdpSPECmjdXBdFDuCv_Lj-5h5L6mOXAk8aVJlwlnhxysMmOaKAOMIZ5ne5kd4pxbr7s74JfnLQbqtbF2Zfh8AhWBXAH0CzJk?purpose=inline)
Monday, October 26 · 21:00 CET
## Prediction: Sevilla 1–1 Osasuna
Draw lean
Why I expect a close match
- Sevilla's defensive concerns: Sevilla lost 1–4 to Real Madrid in the previous round. That result raises questions about how they will handle pressure, although the opponent's quality is relevant.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Osasuna's recent result: Osasuna beat Racing Santander 2–0 in the previous round, giving them a more positive immediate result to build on.
[image](https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=https://scoresocial.app\&sz=32)
scoresocial.app
- Home advantage: Sevilla should still have an opportunity to control possession and create chances at home, especially if they can establish territory early.
- Tactical matchup: Osasuna may look to stay organized and capitalize on mistakes. Sevilla need a more disciplined defensive performance than they delivered against Madrid.
My score reasoning: Sevilla's home advantage offsets Osasuna's stronger recent result. I expect Sevilla to improve but not enough to make a home win my primary pick.
Most plausible alternatives: Sevilla 2–1 Osasuna or Sevilla 0–1 Osasuna.
## My strongest predictions of Matchweek 10
These are relative confidence judgments, not calibrated probabilities.
[La Liga: Atletico Madrid vs Mallorca probable lineups | Al Bawaba](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/zERn9wl1bF9tySgrbMnYZBbG1kcPUC7pAarIYAbjTo9gA4vgP4Qqs31EJjzo5AZWBDC6bZQUYc9ZL-e9-qHy8oXZPYeTn-5tJB-IJ_2B19iayp6IwZxxgZKKe38-jvP1FV6MZVJGiWL9WaP91tvSnRE15ipBgMDBR_zLz7EIwsY?purpose=inline)
1\. Atlético Madrid 2–0 Deportivo
My clearest home-win selection. Atlético have the stronger projected attacking profile and a solid recent defensive result.
[Deportivo Alaves v RCD Espanyol de Barcelona - LaLiga EA Sports](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/T0emPtDxh8EOtRp6mr03xaTdWfp9GYijl74bj5YAf0TIFNtNEdiyahoglvKQCI1qpVG5Q7xTK9sK5wICN3r9ZD_5ZKOzYhgjAywN5bydjrVCzEsLx72rInYq5XWqpO81rV9Ovdj5X2cw5cUib-yqpnFTz_Xl7YzDquKUvirTXNNqnWRSkDiO74lYorDNIVN0?purpose=inline)
2\. Alavés 2–0 Málaga
Home advantage and Málaga's recent defensive struggles make Alavés the more appealing pick.
[Athletic Club v Real Betis - La Liga Santander](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/hkftT-fKAWX59CRg9-iT9vKYgficcgP0WJmTa5KRRgCvSsJXdSSFI94s3fs16SaQ3ohs6ZNjfJMEdPbHKwQx8Z1jltdLKHiqiZseLF1h99aepVVRnVY2Slcz82OqLy0GVWQj5dCz3-2D0qbEHVkLkYFzIgzG5VWJdmt77Vm_4IeDBMBQKQFAs1J4hWuj0q6d?purpose=inline)
3\. Athletic Club 1–0 Getafe
A narrow home win is consistent with the relatively low-scoring outlook.
[PACK SUPER DOBLET](https://images.openai.com/static-rsc-4/wdlF1ncctip_YYcwnw3Wk4Vvg5MKyVgIf3iMgpO1OVDKLRpN987R-nP_NrjnU24wbN-RwEe90ID3Dp1wSI0_sBMzLFgnpW2UIJIEpUTOyAd5meavOPi4YQbslPKHR2FCXzZED9ntpLR0N0AfNPMfLfTrLCo2ybJG1FXxtaSfTe0?purpose=inline)
4\. Barcelona 2–1 Real Madrid
My pick for El Clásico, but with lower confidence because of the quality of both teams and the volatility of this fixture.
## Final prediction table for UBetWeHit
For your La Liga prediction table, with the winning team included in the score format:
| # | Match | Predicted score |
| -- | ----------------------------- | ------------------- |
| 1 | Alavés vs. Málaga | Alavés 2–0 |
| 2 | Rayo Vallecano vs. Elche | Rayo Vallecano 2–1 |
| 3 | Racing Santander vs. Espanyol | draw 1–1 |
| 4 | Valencia vs. Villarreal | Villarreal 1–2 |
| 5 | Atlético Madrid vs. Deportivo | Atlético Madrid 2–0 |
| 6 | Athletic Club vs. Getafe | Athletic Club 1–0 |
| 7 | Celta Vigo vs. Real Betis | Real Betis 1–2 |
| 8 | Real Sociedad vs. Levante | Real Sociedad 2–1 |
| 9 | Barcelona vs. Real Madrid | Barcelona 2–1 |
| 10 | Sevilla vs. Osasuna | draw 1–1 |
My overall expectation is a relatively favorable weekend for the home teams, with Villarreal and Betis the away sides I most favor to win. The two draws I would keep closest in mind are Racing Santander–Espanyol and Sevilla–Osasuna. El Clásico is the most consequential fixture, but also the one where a small tactical or lineup change could most easily overturn the prediction.
